Details Bookings Meeting Format Prices, Times & More Last Updated: 18th August 2025 13:26 19th August 2025 PreviewRookie Bangers (GRQ), Saloon Stock Cars Welcome to Skegness Raceway for one of our Summer Specials! We Welcome Back Broke FMX Stunt Team for their 14th Summer here at Skegness Raceway. Their tricks and jumps are a firm favourite and we expect some new items for 2025, and as John said the team is looking fresh for this season! Broke FMX can be seen at events and exhibitions the length and breadth of the UK and will often leave Skeg Vegas and head straight to his next event. The team was formed by John Pearson who stands at 6ft 4in tall! Which makes many of his stunts event more remarkable. He had a big crash here in his last summer show og 2015 whhich resulted in some painful injuries. What about for his signature jump, it’s something special We also welcome back Josh Grindy who has been John’s partner in the shows since 2023. John has worked on many project including some Film stunt work. In the second part of the show the riders will each perform a jump or a trick and the crowd will be asked to vote by cheering for the most spectacular of the two riders each time. So make sure you are watching very closely so you know who to vote for! The biggest enemy of Broke FMX show is the wind and rain. Wet weather makes both take-off and landing very Slippery and can restrict what the riders can do. Because the riders jump higher than the Grandstand gusts of wind can blow them off course and cause them to miss their landing. That’s what happened in 2015 to John. You will see them check the wind before each performance so please bear with them it only takes a few minutes but guarantees that we will get the best possible show.
